Andrew Maack, CFA, is responsible for all FX trading activities at the 3rd largest money manager in the US, Vanguard, where he supports equity and fixed income portfolios globally. In this role, Andrew ensures a robust TCA system is in place to effectively measure and prove best execution on their FX trading desk. Andrew will be sharing this experience to help you take your TCA to the next level to consistently achieve best execution.
Collin is a Senior Managing Director and Head of Currency Management globally for State Street Global Advisors. His responsibilities include the management and development of active, dynamic and passive currency strategies for SSgA's clients. Collin is also the Head of Research for the Fixed Income, Cash and Currency (FICC) Group as well as the Chairman of SSgA's Technical Committee, which reviews all quantitative research at the firm.Collin joined SSgA in 2006 from Citigroup, where he served as Global Head of the Quantitative Investor Solutions Group in the Foreign Exchange division. Prior to Citigroup, he was a Currency Analyst and Head of Quantitative Currency Research for Putnam Investments. Collin was also a Research Officer for Barclays Global Investors and has worked in the investment industry since 1996.
Mr. Harris joined Campbell & Company in July 2000 and was appointed President in October 2012. Mr. Harris formerly held the positions of Deputy Manager of Trading in 2004, Director of Trading in 2006, and was appointed to the firm’s Investment Committee in March 2010. Mr. Harris was also elected to the Board of Directors in 2012 and has been a member of the firm's Executive Committee since 2006. He previously worked as a futures and options broker for Refco Inc. (NY) from 1999 to 2000 and within the Sales and Product Development groups at Morgan Stanley Managed Futures from 1997 to 1999. Mr. Harris earned a B.A. with honors in Economics and Japanese Studies from Gettysburg College and also studied abroad at Kansai Gaidai University in Osaka, Japan. He is a regular contributor on a number of financial networks including CNBC, Bloomberg and Fox Business and has been featured in numerous industry publications. Since October 2013, Mr. Harris has served on the Board of Directors of the Managed Funds Association, the leading advocate for sound business practices in the alternative investment industry, and currently serves as Vice Chairman. Mr. Harris also became a member of the Board of Directors of the Foreign Exchange Professionals Association in February 2015.
John Espinosa is a Managing Director and the Head of Global Sovereign & Emerging Markets Research. Mr. Espinosa is responsible for managing the organization’s global sovereign and emerging market corporate fixed income analysts. In addition, he is responsible for covering sovereigns and local markets in CIS, Africa and the Middle East. Mr. Espinosa’s prior responsibilities included managing the Municipal Finance Research team and covering Asian corporates and sovereigns. Additionally, he has covered corporate debt in the EMEA region, and served as an associate portfolio manager for the CREF Bond Total Return group. He joined the TIAA-CREF organization in 2004. Mr. Espinosa has 13 years of industry experience including a position in the equity operations area of Nomura Securities International. He has been selected for The Asset Magazine’s “Most Astute Asian G3 Bond Investors” list for six consecutive years, ranked number one in the US in 2011. Mr. Espinosa holds a B.B.A in Economics and International Business from Manhattan College and an M.A. in Economics from Fordham University.
Viewed as an industry pioneer, Michael oversees a global trading team operating 24 hours per day responsible for the execution of long and short trades in over seventy-five markets. They also gathering intelligence on new instruments including hard currency and local currency debt. Having successfully steered Eaton Vance’s FX trading desk trough choppy waters in 2015, Michael will be outlining what trends he sees driving FX markets forward and how you can successfully capitalize on these in 2016.
In his role, Alessio acts as a senior strategist for the Global Multi-Asset Group at OppenheimerFunds. In this role, he leads the group’s macro research on business cycle dynamics and global macro regimes, assessing their impact on asset class risks and returns. In addition, Alessio oversees and manages active currency strategies in GMAG’s funds. Alessio will provide his expert analysis on the latest USD trends, challenging the ‘norm’ view of this currency as a safe haven.
At Eastspring Investments, part of Prudential Corporation, Richard works as part of a team of 8 covering all asset classes from one desk based in Asia. In this role, Richard is primarily focused on Asian assets but also trades in global emerging markets and instruments listed in the U.S. Recently, Richard and his team have been working on FX TCA which has involved looking at trading systems and analysis from a number of sources. Through this process, Richard has been able to obtain information that improves both counterparty execution and internal FX management processes. Richard will be sharing his findings around this subject, giving the buy side view on how you can truly make a reliable and robust TCA system to suit your needs.
Ulf oversees AG Bisset’s currency overlay and currency alpha programs. These programs are applied to manage currency risk for institutional clients in North America and Europe. A.G. Bisset’s research, which Ulf oversees, has recently looked at the strength of the dollar over the past year to project what the future holds for this currency against others.. The recent research also delves into what this means for US interest rates in terms of when and how they will rise,, and what this will mean for investors globally. Ulf will be sharing his expertise and research during day 1 of TradeTech FX USA when speaking on his panel on US interest rate rises.
Dori is an excellent communicator, and has a deep and broad knowledge of the markets, making him well placed to boil complex issues down to their critical elements. As a senior member of First Quadrant's investment team, he is involved in all aspects of product development: model building, risk measurement, risk allocation, and portfolio optimization. When joining the investment team, Dori was initially focused on tactical asset allocation, currency, and global macro strategies. Now, his role in addition covers currency research as director of the currency product. Dori will be providing his expertise during the All Star Panel, sharing how he successfully navigated First Quatrant’s FX desk through tricky markets in 2015 and where the key opportunities lie in the year ahead.
Marc Chandler has 30 years of experience in the FX market, starting his current role at BBH in 2005 as Global Head Of Currency Strategy. His current research projects include global imbalance and the relationship between savings, investment and growth. Marc is often called upon to provide macro-economic expertise on CNBC and Bloomberg amongst other media.
Ken is a multilingual and well-rounded global investment professional with over 25 years of experience. His expertise includes, hedging strategies formulation, trading, risk management, and external investment managers selection. As a Portfolio Manager at STRS Ohio, Ken consistently delivers outstanding short-term and long-term risk-adjusted performance mainly focusing on developed currencies on a multi-billion international portfolio. He also implemented a 50% currency hedging policy and is actively managing the currency hedging program. Mr. Savage runs a start up fund, CCTrack Solutions which is backed by CITIC Capital. The focus of the fund is FX trading systematically, and Mr. Savages entire career has been focused on FX space starting with his work as a Quant strategist at Goldman. He is now successfully steering a start-up hedge fund in the FX market, and will be sharing his expertise on how the buy side can drive value from their sell side counterparts, discussing whether and agency or principal based model is the best way forward in FX.

Josh Levy is the Managing Director of Tactical Asset Management LLC (part of the Tactical Group) and has over 20 years of FX-specific trading and technology experience. Mr. Levy has served as an inter-bank foreign-exchange trader at Goldman Sachs (NYSE: GS) in New York & Tokyo, as Managing Director of the FX Trading division of the SunGard STN Transaction Network (NYSE: SDS) and as a co-founder of the seminal FX ECN MatchbookFX (A division of GlobalNet Financial - NASDAQ: GLBN). Prior to founding Tactical Asset Management, Mr. Levy was the President of CMC Markets which is the world's largest internet dealer in FX and other derivatives.

Lee Ferridge is a managing director and the North American head of Multi-Asset Strategy for State Street Global Markets. Mr. Ferridge and his team formulate foreign exchange, fixed income and equity market views for State Street’s range of clients using unique proprietary flow indicators. Originally from the UK, he is now based permanently in Boston. Before joining State Street in February 2008, Mr. Ferridge was global head of treasury research at Rabobank in London. In addition to more than 15 years of experience as a macro strategist, he has also worked as a proprietary trader. Mr. Ferridge has a Bachelor of Science degree in economics and business economics and in 2008 completed a master’s degree in quantitative finance. He is a frequent commentator in the financial press — both written and TV — and has written articles for numerous industry publications.
Glenn Graham, founded Golden Point Capital Management in 2012, a registered CPO and CTA, that takes a purely mathematical and systematic approach to trading in global commodity markets. Before founding Golden Point, Glenn managed the high frequency energy trading desk at Blue Fire Capital. Prior to that Glenn began his trading career at Allston Trading, LLC where he focused on commodity markets managing their energy group..
Michael assists external clients develop strategies to manage currency risk, reduce FX transaction costs, and minimize operational work load. As an expert in FX, particularly FX TCA which is crucially centered around a reliable benchmark, Michael will be discussing what methods you can undertake to reach a reliable benchmark.
Anja Kleefsman joined PGGM in 2004 in the Portfolio Administration department. PGGM is a Dutch pension fund asset manager and has around € 200 billion in assets under management. She holds a degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Twente University in the Netherlands and also holds a degree in Investment Management at the University of Amsterdam (VBA). After heading a team in the Portfolio Administration department for a couple of years she switched to the Front Office in 2010 to become part of the Treasury team. The main responsibility of the Treasury team is day to day cash management, including all collateral flows. Anja is also highly involved investigating the impact of the regulatory changes for pension funds. Next to that Anja is part of the Trading and Execution team and is co-responsible for managing and trading all foreign exchange transactions for PGGM’s clients.
As the founder and CEO of R5FX, the Emerging Currency MarketPlace-a new Interbank Liquidity pool for eNDF's and EMFX, he is actively involved in the development of Emerging Market currencies. R5FX is building the eMerging MarketPlace for FX banks that not only satisfies new legal requirements, but also specialises in the fast growing transaction volumes in BRIC and emerging economy currencies. Jon will be sharing his specific expertise on where the current emerging market and G10 trends lie at TradeTech FX.
Paul has worked in the financial industry since 1994, specializing in quantitative finance for multi‐asset strategies, including currency. Throughout his career he has held positions on both the buy and sell sides of the industry, cultivating unique experiences, expertise and insights as a quantitative strategist, portfolio manager, trader and sales person in global equities, global fixed income, derivatives and global foreign exchange. Paul spent the first half of his career on the buy‐side holding prominent positions at Baring Asset Management, Santander Global Advisors, Putnam Investments, Fleet/Columbia Management and at his own fund Prometheus Quantitative Strategies. On the sell‐side Paul has spent the later part of his career specializing in strategies and quantitative alpha generation, utilizing electronic and algorithmic trading techniques, at Bank of America, Morgan Stanley and TD Securities. Paul is established as one of the industry’s leading authorities on the subject of market microstructure in global foreign exchange and transaction cost analysis (TCA), having published a myriad of widely read papers on these subjects as well as being the named inventor of two important patented solutions for FX TCA. Paul holds Master degrees in Mathematical Economics and Business Administration from Boston University and a Bachelors degree in Music Composition from Boston University and the New England Conservatory of Music.
Saeed Amen is a Managing Director and a Co-founder at Thalesians Ltd. Saeed is currently publishing ground-breaking quant strategy notes at Thalesians Ltd., drawing upon nearly a decade of experience both creating and running systematic trading models successfully with real cash. Independently, he is also a systematic FX trader, running a proprietary trading book trading liquid G10 FX. He has also recently written a book on trading which is was published by Palgrave Macmillan: Trading Thalesians - What the ancient world can teach us about trading today.
Bruce has been actively involved in a range of regulatory matters relating to capital markets in recent years, particularly aspects of the Dodd-Frank Act relating to the FX markets. Historically, Bruce has extensive experience in the debt and derivatives capital markets, including representing end-users such as asset managers
Stephen M. Humenik leads the firm’s futures and derivatives practice. He has extensive experience on cross-border regulatory, compliance and enforcement matters involving the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and markets for derivatives and physical and financial commodities. Mr. Humenik applies his business, operational, and government experience to the implementation of CFTC regulations, including the registration, trading, clearing and other compliance obligations of the Dodd-Frank Act.
Prior to joining Covington, Mr. Humenik was general counsel and chief regulatory officer of an interest rate swap derivatives market, where he oversaw the legal and regulatory affairs of the exchange, including the exchange’s designation as a contract market and ongoing compliance with CFTC regulations.
Mr. Humenik previously served as Special Counsel and Policy Advisor to former CFTC Commissioner Scott O’Malia where he assisted on rulemaking, enforcement and legislative matters. Mr. Humenik began his career at the CFTC and primarily served as Senior Trial Attorney for the CFTC’s Division of Enforcement where he investigated and litigated complex fraud and market manipulation cases, specifically those involving energy and financial derivatives and physical commodities.
Mr. Humenik also practiced in the SEC enforcement group of a law firm in Washington, DC.
Daniel oversees SG Lawyer’s Compliance Group. He structures and organizes broker-dealers and investment advisers, regularly counsels and investment professionals in connection with regulatory matters. Daniel also previously served as a senior compliance examiner for the Northeast Regional Office of the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission (the “SEC”). During his tenure at the SEC, he worked on several compliance inspection projects involving compliance examinations of registered investment advisers. At TradeTech FX, Daniel will discuss both the intended and unintended consequences of Dodd Frank, and what this means on an operational level for your trading desk.
Howard Tai is a senior analyst with Aite Group, focusing on derivatives products, multi-asset class investment, and risk management strategies, as well as the role of electronic trading in currency, equity derivatives, convertible securities, and equities. Mr. Tai brings to Aite Group more than 25 years of investment experience across multiple asset classes and derivatives products. Before joining Aite Group, he spent more than 15 years with American Century Investments (ACI), most recently as vice president, currency and equity derivatives specialist. In this role, he was responsible for policy, strategy, risk management, and trading of foreign exchange, equity derivatives, and convertible securities. During his tenure at ACI, he traded currencies, equity futures, listed equity options, OTC structured products, convertible securities, and Asian, European, Latin American, and U.S. equities. He also served as a member of the Asia-Pacific Steering Committee for FIX Protocol Ltd. Prior to joining American Century Investments, Mr. Tai worked for Citigroup and JPMorgan Chase.
Mr. Tai has been quoted extensively in the financial press and in trade publications such as Global Pensions, Institutional Investor, Euromoney, FX Week, Advanced Trading, and Wall Street & Technology. He has presented at leading industry events globally, including serving as the keynote speaker at the inaugural FX Invest Conference in 2007.
Throughout Paul’s career, which includes roles at the Bank of England, and International Monetary Fund, his interests include monetary policy and its interrelationship with markets and the economy. This has also been a key focus in his current role at BNP Paribas. During his keynote presentation, Paul will provide an analysis on the key macro-economic opportunities you should focus on in 2016 and beyond.
Petra Wikström, Global Head of FX Execution & Alpha Solutions, joined BNP Paribas in 2014. She is part of developing the bank’s pre- and post-trade transaction cost analysis and quantitative investment analysis directed to institutional investors globally. Specifically the team delivers bespoke analysis on topics such as currency benchmarks, hedge ratios and minimising tracking errors and assisting clients who wish to implement a more quantitative currency investment process.
Petra has over 15 years of experience in the financial industry, and held both regional and global roles providing FX and cross-asset quantitative investment solutions to institutional and corporate investors for 7 years at Royal Bank of Scotland and RBS Greenwich Capital, and most recently at Morgan Stanley. She also earlier worked at BNP Paribas, London, in the early years of 2000.
Chip is responsible for State Street Global Market’s Agency FX Services. He joined State Street in 1992 where he worked in product development and currency risk management roles. He has been involved in electronic FX systems and market structures since 1995 when he participated in the development and launch of FX Connect, the first electronic FX trading platform for the intuitional investor community. Subsequently Chip held positions in London where he ran SSGM’s Global Link division for EMEA and then in New York where he was the COO for Currenex, a State Street company.
Ilya Gorelik is Founder and CEO of Deltix. As CEO, Ilya Gorelik is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the company, as well as overseeing global product development, sales and marketing. Ilya has more than 15 years of experience managing large-scale software projects and teams. He was one of the key development leaders of PTC, where he worked from 1989 to 1998, attaining the position of Senior VP of Engineering and Chief Technology Officer. From 1998 until 2000, Ilya was Senior VP of Product Strategy and Development and Chief Scientist for FirePond. From 2000 until founding Deltix in 2005, Ilya worked as Advisory CTO for HighRoads and several other software technology companies. Ilya has a Ph.D. in Computational Mechanics from Moscow Technical University, he received an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Minsk Technical University.
Dmitri Galinov is Chief Executive Officer at FastMatch. Mr. Galinov is an electronic trading veteran with over 17 years of experience. Dmitri joined FastMatch from Credit Suisse where he was a Director of Equities Department (Advanced Execution Services).
Prior to Credit Suisse, Mr. Galinov was Director of Strategy of Direct Edge. He helped a company grow from a small player into one of the major US Equities destinations. Mr. Galinov received his MBA in Finance from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University and B.B.A. in Finance from Baruch College.
Jim Cochrane is a Director in the ITG Analytical Products and Research group, the ITG TCA(r) for FX product manager. Transaction cost analysis is a perfect role for someone who has devoted his professional career to advising decision-makers on risks and strategy as well as the collection, analysis and dissemination of data and intelligence. In this role, he has the opportunity to not only help design a comprehensive analytical tool to study the 4-trillion dollar FX market, but also to consult with asset managers regarding foreign exchange trading costs and trading efficiency.

Susan Gammage has more than 25 years of experience in banking, brokerage and financial information services and serves as Thomson Reuters Head of FX Transactions Sales, Americas. In this role she oversees a segment that includes Corporates, Asset Managers and Hedge Funds in the Americas. It is in this capacity that she served as the Secretary of the ACI Americas, a global organization serving the foreign exchange markets. She is a former member of the Foreign Exchange Committee of the Federal Reserve Board and the Canadian Foreign Exchange Committee. Susan’s previous roles include Global Head of e-commerce at Citibank and a variety of senior roles at Thomson Reuters. She is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College.
Ganesh Iyer is Director, Product Marketing, Financial Markets Network at IPC Systems, a leading provider of mission-critical network services and trading communication technology to the global financial markets community. At IPC, Ganesh is part of the team responsible for spearheading global product marketing initiatives, building brand awareness and growing the business. He has been widely quoted in the press regarding various aspects of the financial markets and has been featured in a number of publications and media outlets including the Wall Street Journal, Information Management, CIO Review, FX-MM and Futures and Options World. Ganesh has over 15 years of experience in the technology industry spanning product marketing, market research and strategic planning.
Kevin McPartland heads up the Market Structure and Technology practice at Greenwich Associates. He has 15 years of capital markets industry experience with deep regulatory and technology expertise in fixed income, FX, and equity markets. Kevin has presented at a wide range of industry conferences and is quoted regularly in financial media including The Economist, Wall Street Journal, NY Times, Financial Times, and numerous other industry publications. He has also provided live and taped commentary for CNBC, National Public Radio, Bloomberg TV and Reuters TV.
Mayra is a highly motivated business professional, who has 25 years of financial regulatory, FX, and energy markets experience. She has held roles at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and JP Morgan, and is now drawing on this experience as a consultant and trainer to offer investment professionals across the globe e full clarity on Dodd Frank and global regulatory compliance.
Richard M. Levich is Professor of Finance and International Business and Deputy Chair of the Department of Finance at New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business. He is also a Research Associate with the National Bureau of Economic Research in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Professor Levich has been a visiting faculty member at many distinguished universities in the United States and abroad including Yale University, the University of Chicago, Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) in France, the Australian Graduate School of Management of the University of New South Wales, and City University Business School (Cass) in London. He has published more than 75 articles on various topics dealing with international finance, and is the author or editor of sixteen books. His most recent book is A New Look at Currency Investing (with Momtchil Pojarliev) published in 2012 by the Research Foundation of the CFA Institute.
Lisa Seim has traded and sold treasury products for various financial institutions in Austria, Germany and NYC in the mid 80s and 90s. In July of 2011, she realized the markets were lost and stuck between the new regulatory mandates of Dodd Frank regulatory reform and coming to terms with the fact that legacy technologies had little capacity to handle the new regulatory environment. Transparency and managing risk became at the top of everyone’s list. Lisa decided to establish Strategic Exchanges to help financial firms navigate through this new and very difficult path. She now steers financial institutions towards innovative solutions that will help them adhere to the new regulatory mandates. Lisa Seim presently engages over seventeen different firms that address various issues on the way trades are executed, processed, reported and settled within the framework of the new regulatory mandates. Her consortium members currently comprise of data, research and analytics companies, aggregation services and applications, trade surveillance systems, clearing house services, legal services around financial technology applications, collateral and liquidity managements systems along with lightweight, web-based portfolio management solutions. David Wright is a Managing Director and Global Head of FX Electronic Distribution at Morgan Stanley based in London. His team is responsible for the sales and product development of the firm’s FX electronic trading franchise. David joined Morgan Stanley in 2003 and has 19 years of experience in Foreign Exchange and Emerging Markets. David began his career at Swiss Bank Corporation in 1997 as an Associate Director in the Quantitative Advisory and Development group.
Melanie Cristi is an Executive Director and Head of Americas FX E-Sales based in New York. Her team is responsible for the sales of Morgan Stanley’s FX electronic trading capabilities to institutional and corporate clients. Melanie joined Morgan Stanley in 2012 and has nine years of experience in electronic trading in foreign exchange, equities, and futures. Prior to working in electronic trading, she was a management consultant at Accenture.
Andrew Silverman is Managing Director and Global Co-head of Morgan Stanley Electronic Trading (MSET), and has over 30 years of experience in cash and electronic trading. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Andrew spent 14 years at Goldman Sachs, where he held roles in cash trading before becoming head of algorithmic trading. Andrew began his career at Lehman Brothers where he spent 10 years.
Dr. Steven Englander is Managing Director and Global Head of G10 Strategy at Citi. He returned to Citi in April of 2010. The Citi FX Strategy team has been named the #1 FX Strategy team by FX Week and Euromoney. Steve publishes frequently in CitiFX Strategy publications and is a frequent consultant to Citi's internal and external clients on how macroeconomic policy, regulation and asset markets affect FX markets. His expertise is on reserves management, earnings repatriation, capital flows, and global imbalances. He has written extensively on Bitcoin and digital currencies. Prior to rejoining Citi, Mr. Englander was Chief Foreign Exchange Strategist for the Americas at Barclays Capital. Previously he spent eight years with Citibank/Salomon Smith Barney where he was Global Currency Economist based in London. Citi was ranked #1 in currency economics and long-term strategy every year that he occupied that position. Before moving to the private sector, he worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, where he was Senior Research Officer and Head of the Domestic Research Department, and the OECD. He received his B.A. from McGill University and Ph.D from Yale University.
Camilo is a Portfolio Officer in the Global Markets and IFC Research Group at IFC. He leads the team’s efforts in terms of Emerging Markets FX, by providing insights and recommendations to IFC's investment departments, portfolio officers and clients. Before the IFC, Camilo worked for almost five years in Goldman Sachs in New York City, focusing on tactical asset allocation for private clients. Camilo will be sharing his expertise in emerging markets FX trends.
Jennifer Litwin is responsible for spearheading Greenwich Associates’ relationship management and marketing initiatives with key decision-makers at select priority buy-side institutions and is a frequent speaker at industry and investor conferences. Prior to joining Greenwich Associates in 2007, Jennifer was a senior sales-trader on the Synthetic GIC desk at UBS Investment Bank. She began her career as an Associate in the Operations Group at AIG Financial Products Corp. Jennifer is a recipient of Traders Magazine Wall Street Women, A Celebration of Excellence 2012 - Crystal Ladder Award.
Javier Paz is a senior analyst within Aite Group's Wealth Management practice. In this role, Mr. Paz examines brokerage trends in business, regulation, and technology across asset classes. Areas of particular expertise include retail FX and other self-directed trading, trader/investor segmentation, front-end trading technology, and margin-trading regulations.

Fred Allatt is the Director of FX Execution and Prime Brokerage at INTL FC Stone Markets LLC, a registered Swap Dealer with the CFTC. His responsibilities include growing and maintaining both the FX Prime of Prime business and the execution business. His client base includes Hedge Funds, CTAs, Broker-Dealers, Regional Banks, Pension Funds and Real Money clients. Allatt joined INTL FC Stone Markets in 2010 from Morgan Stanley where he helped generate new business within FX Prime Brokerage. Prior to that, he worked in sales and relationship management at Bank of America Merrill Lynch FXPB for 6 years. He started his career in 2000 working for Smith Barney as a Commodity Trading Assistant.
An FX and derivatives industry veteran and a frequent speaker on cross-asset class market structure analysis, James leads firm-wide strategy and business development at MarketFactory. James co-founded MarketFactory to address a gap in the market for turnkey aggregation platforms. Formerly Head of Research and Strategy of ICAP / EBS (Electronic Broking Services), James helped lead the sale of EBS to ICAP in 2006. Prior to that, James was Head of Sales for the Americas and Asia-Pacific as well as the Global Head of Product at EBS. James began his career at Citibank and received his BSc. in Engineering Honors from the University of London, Imperial College.
Mr. Parker is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Chesapeake and Chesapeake Holding Company. Mr. Parker received a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce, with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of Virginia in January 1980. Mr. Parker started his trading career in 1983 as an exempt commodity trading advisor for Mr. Richard J. Dennis, in his “Turtle” training program. Mr. Parker has overseen Chesapeake’s operations and its trading since its inception in February 1988.
Jeffrey Young is a Managing Director and co-founder of DeepMacro LLC, a technology company that provides early, independent assessment of economic conditions across the developed and emerging world. Prior to founding DeepMacro this year, he worked at Caxton Associates, and he has also been Director of Research at Woodbine Capital, Chief Economist and FX Portfolio Manager at Platinum Grove Asset Management, Global Head of FX Research and Strategy at Citigroup, and Economist for Japan at Salomon Brothers and its successors, based in Tokyo. Experience in both systematic and discretionary economic and FX analysis, and long-standing focus on the Asia region.
Alex Shterenberg is the head of FX E-Commerce North America and global head of FX Algorithmic Execution at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. In this role, he is responsible for all aspects of electronic FX trading in North America and the algo product globally. Previously, Alex was at JPMorgan for six years, most recently as global head of Algorithmic Products and before that, he was responsible for risk management in the Automated Trading Strategies group. Prior to joining JPMorgan in 2007, he was a Senior Consultant and Developer at Broadway Technology, and earlier, he worked in Equities Market Data and Trade Execution Technology at UBS.
Alex holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Aerospace Engineering and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from MIT.
Based in the UK, Dr Liam Hudson is Global Head of Electronic FX, at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. He joined the bank in 2010, after running Barclays’ Barx FX in the Americas. Prior to that, he was Global Head of FX e-Commerce Technology at Lehman Brothers.
Vadim Iaralov is an associate in Quantitative FX Research in New York with a focus on G10 currencies. Regular Research publications include FX Quant Trader and FX Quant Viewpoint.
He has a bachelor’s in economics and mathematics from University of Western Ontario (Canada) and a masters and PhD in economics (game theory) from Princeton University.
